Twelve years of development, most recently eight years architecting production .NET and Vue/Nuxt platforms, a few years teaching school before that. Directing AI agents is an instruction problem: decomposition, scaffolding, feedback, and telling the difference between a model that misunderstood and one that wasn't given enough. Lately the teaching runs both ways; an agent is walking me through Rust.
